Awareness classes to School children on ‘Life style diseases’

     On request from Deputy Director of Education, Kannur our centre has been conducting awareness sessions for High School Children at Schools in Kannur. We are conducting the programmes through entire district and it is an amazing experience sharing knowledge with children.

BMD camps 

Osteoporosis is a major health problem in patients with diabetes and especially with postmenopausal women. We regularly conduct free BMD (Born mineral Density) measurement campaign using Ultra sound Technique and we evaluate ‘T’ score of wrist BMD. Our patients are called periodically to under go BMD testing and are categorized in to Normal, Osteopenic and osteoporotic. The feed back from the patients and their enthusiasm in monitoring it regularly and adhering to treatment of osteoporosis is been wonderful.
